You should, therefore, register with the professional body(ies) of interest to you while we assist you through our excellent tutorial services to pass their examinations and thereby become a certified professional. This information that we provide you on this site is aimed at enabling you to make appropriate choice of the professional body to register with. You are strongly advised to consider your ambition, interests, academic background, age, duration of programme, time of the year examination is conducted, and of course, the time at your disposal for studies in making this choice. Anther major factor determining your preference should be the nature of your job (if you are working). If you do not meet the minimum requirements for admission as a student member of the professional body you like, write to The Clinic's Chief Counsellor for advise. This deplorable state of affairs has resulted in stiff competition for the few available vacancies for graduates. Those who get invited for job tests/interviews tend to consider themselves lucky and privileged. Their hopes get dashed when after a long wait, they learn that they did not scale through such tests/interviews and, therefore, will not be employed. This organisation offers job seeking graduates a unique opportunity to get adequately prepared for graduate employment tests/interviews. Q.SANDWICH PROGRAMME This is a unique opportunity created essentially for our students who are resident outside Lagos metropolis .Students who have tight work schedules and therefore cannot conveniently attend our weekend programmes {though resident in Lagos}also fit into the convenience afforded by this programme. Under the programme. our (prospective) students come in for week day examination preparatory sessions which last for one month. Students participating in the programme normally schedule their annual leave to coincide with the duration of the programme. Our students who have problem getting their employers to oblige them their annual leave for this programme intimate us for our solicitude for their release. Most employers co-operate for they realize that their employees who become competent via training constitute an invaluable asset. Our experience and research result have shown that other things being equal, those who participate in this programme on the average, score better grades than those who attend the weekend programme. The reason is obvious: Concentrated action without distractions. We give you no illusions, nonetheless. The programme is design for those who have defined their objective and are perpared to make the sacrifice which an intensive programme like this entails. We have, however, made adequate provisions for our 'sandwich student': comfortable hostel accommodation, and bus service are available to those who book for them. We also operate a Business Centre at the hostel facility to send and receive message from their homes without experiencing the hazzles involved in visiting NIPOST and NITEL offices. The centre takes the burden off their shoulders in addition to providing them photocopying and typing services at controlled prices. The elaborate arrangements made to assist our students excel in their examinations via this programme is what has made the cost of providing it run into millions of naira. We thank God for our reliable sources of funding the programme. The programme provides a unique opportunity for students to gain social advantages and secure better jobs. We emphasize even spread for participation in the programme in the light of its attractive features. We therefore reserve the right to limit the number of participants from each State of the Federation for, being professional trainers, we dread the implications of over stretching our facilities. Reservations for the programme are, however, made in the order in which requests come. R. COMUTER LITERACY The use of computers for business operations is in vogue with obvious advantages. It is imperative that those who aspire to hold responsible positions in well paying (Modern)organization must be computer literate. Our 'Sandwich Students' who are not resident within the ambit of our service centres are advised to utilize their training-free days to become computer literate, a case of killing two (2) birds with one stone. S. Correspondence programme- We share the view of Napoleon Hill as he expressed it in his great book, 'Think and Grow Rich'. He observed that a major advantage of the correspondence programme is its flexibility"… which permits one to study during spare time". He observed further that if the tuition house is carefully chosen, most course offered by correspondence"… carry with them generous privileges and consultation which can be of priceless value to those needing specialized knowledge. No matter where you live, you can share the benefits". We have taken these observations and prescriptions and other factors into consideration in packaging our correspondence facility. It is a cost intensive programme given the high cost of printing equipment and other limitation of our Nigerian environment. We are, however, not deterred for we are always delighted when the extra mile we go makes positive difference in our patron' lives. We are grateful for the assistance and encouragement of some Overseas, and American firms in this direction. The facility will become operational in due course. Appropriate announcements will be made in the media when we are ready to put the facility at the disposal of those who need the service. T. Branch Offices- The more people from where you are domiciled and its conterminous towns, you get registered with us, the closer you are to enjoying our face to face facilities where you live. This is because we open offices in locations where we have up to 200 students. Apart from competent facilitators (in the various subjects) who are deployed to such Centres, our able Programmes Coodinator, who is also the Clinic’s Chief Counsellor tours them regularly to give personal attention to our students’ needs-and ensure the maintenance of our high standards. We issue Certificates in attestation of our clients participation in our programmers. This complements the certificates our students receive from the relevant professional bodies for passing their examinations. Our computer programme attracts separate Certificate / Diplomas. These are awarded to those who pass all the prescribed examinations for them. V. ISSUANCE OF CLIENTS IDENTITY CARD which enables you to have access into our hostel, library and training centres. Please enclosed an extra (colour) passport photograph when returning your enrolment form to enable us prepare one for you. W. This enables our client to further their studies overseas and thereby have international exposure. Y. Industrial Exposure: Participation on "industrial tours" is an indispensable part of the experiences we put our clients through. The tours are guided by facilitators in the relevant course. The tours cover small, media and large scale organisations within Nigeria and Overseas.
